Tim started work as a locksmith in a Lockshop in Tottenham at the age of 15 and went on to work as an apprentice at E. Aldridge & son in central London. After 5 years at Aldridge, he moved to a safe company and 2 other locksmith companies, before moving out of London to start his own business Citylocks. Tim was invited to join the ALA at its inception and was amazed that there were other locksmiths/motor trade people who were interested in the same things he was! Over the years he has moved from working with non-transponder cars to ALL cars having various forms of transponders. Tim has served several years on the ALA committee as a committee member, secretary and as a chairman. He has even served on the MLA board of directors.
