Having been a practicing, hands-on locksmith since 1975, Jeff joined the MLA in 1990. Jeff has been a tutor and member of the training committee for the association, whilst he also served as regional officer and both Chairman and Vice Chairman of the MLA’s board of directors in the past, he currently is an inspector. One of Jeff’s specialist areas is opening techniques, even having developed the Chubb/Union 114 pin and cam lock pick along with the late Terry Staddon.

Terry Watts is a long standing MLA member, who started in the locksmith industry at 16, 44 years ago, working with all the well-known names in the industry. He was one of the youngest MLA members, soon joining the London region committee and introduced regular hands-on training sessions in the 80’s.

During the 90’s his passion for the trade took him to Europe training, also becoming a trainer at the early MLA EXPOS. He was one of the founding members of the Auto Locksmiths Association.
