Oliver started lockpicking at the age of 27 as a hobby.

In the next years he worked part time as a locksmith at a friend’s business.

During that time, he had safe related requests which he couldn’t cover, so he began to learn everything about safes and safe locks and also how to open them non-destructively.

This led to him developing his own tools and even started to sell them commercially.

In 2005 he released the book “Impressioning” which became one of the references books covering this topic. It got translated into several languages and sells worldwide.
