Jim Shingler

Senior Officer at the National Crime Agency. Jim is a retired Detective Sergeant from the Metropolitan Police & Scottish Police Service, specialising in Homicide, Counter Terrorism, Organised/Covert Crime, Serious Sexual Offences & Financial Crime.

Jim has served with the Southeast Regional Crime Squad, The National Crime Squad, Project Sapphire (Serious Sexual Offences), Counter Terrorism Command and the London Regional Asset Recovery Team.

Jim has served as an NCA (MCIS) Crime Team Adviser since July 2016 and leads on the recruitment of Expert Witnesses for the NCA Expert Adviser Database and International investigations.
